"Man and the Law" exercises public control, it is engaged in legal education and demands from the government to respect human rights.
The organization's projects are often aimed at helping non-profit organisations, initiative groups, and activists. Among them "Different children — equal rights!", "School of the public controller" and "Help of the Public Oversight Commission". The organization operates in 42 regions and, from the very beginning, it considers the formation of a rule-of-law society in Russia as its mission.
