'Proektoria'

The Center for the social initiative's development 'Proektoria' was founded in December 2016. It was engaged in educational projects in the English language, the history and culture of English-speaking countries, programming, and the basics of entrepreneurship. In addition, Proektoria provided grants for the implementation of initiatives in the field of education, science, and culture, collaborated with Skolkovo and Startup Village. 'Proektoria' was funded mainly by the American non-governmental organization Project Harmony.

In April 2020, the Prosecutor General's Office found that Project Harmony threatened the foundations of the constitutional order and security of Russia. Project Harmony was recognized as an 'undesirable' organization, and 'Projektoria' asked the Ministry of Justice to include it in the register of non-profit 'foreign agents' in order to avoid a fine. Immediately after that, the Proektoria center announced its self-liquidation due to the inability to receive funding.
