The work of the Ural Human Rights Group is aimed at fighting for the observance of human rights in the Chelyabinsk region, including closed cities and surrounding areas, as well as at helping those persecuted by the authorities for their beliefs and victims of the arbitrariness of law enforcement agencies. The most significant programs implemented by the group are “Protection of human rights in a closed city,” “Special prosecutor’s office-violation of the Constitution of Russia,” “Fight against the institution of special police in closed cities,” “Legal emergency,” “School of democracy.”
