The German Marshall Fund supports democratic processes and the development of transatlantic cooperation: organizes conferences of pro-democracy lecturers and research with the aim of shaping political concepts, and also provides internships for young politicians. Among the Fund's initiatives are the Hamilton-68 project, aimed at countering the disinformation campaign in the United States emanating from Russia, and the Alliance for the Preservation of Democracy, aimed at "curbing the efforts of government agencies in Russia and other countries to undermine democracy."
