"The Institute of Globalization and Social Movements" is an organization that develops expert assessments, conducts research and promotes left-wing initiatives "aimed at a democratic and radical socio-economic transformation of society". The organization has close ties with other leftist and anti-fascist movements and platforms. It was founded by the political scientist and sociologist Boris Kagarlitsky.
