The foundation is developing international education programs for children and adolescents from 3 to 19 years. Their diplomas or certificates allow to continue education or receive a job in any of the countries who accepted these programs.
After the start of Russian invasion into Ukraine, the International Baccalaureate published recommendations on how to speak about the war at schools. They included a recommendation to "understand both sides" and too note "Russia’s fear of NATO expansion so close to its borders."
About 30 Russian school including state-owned ones that have introduced the foundation's education programs over the years are mentioned on the foundation's website, the international gymnasium school of the Skolkovo Innovation Center among them.

Prosecutor General's office states that the foundation aims at "formatting the Russian youth according to Western templates" and imposes its vision of historical processes to schoolers in its education programs, distorts well-known facts, incites interethnic hatred and carries on anti-Russian propaganda. "From the start of the special military operation, [the foundation's] education and methodic manuals have been corrected in accordance with the Russophobic stance of the collective West. There appeared calls for international isolation of our country and materials discrediting the Russian army," the Prosecutor General's office said.
