For almost 20 years, the “Citizens Watch” has been contributing to the formation of civil society in Russia as an institution that exercises control over the activities of law enforcement and state bodies. The organization strives to bring Russian legislation closer to international legal norms. The “Citizens Watch” also releases manuals, conducts training and seminars on topics related to human rights, and monitors cases of human rights violations in St. Petersburg.
