“PIR” specializes in the study of issues of global security, nuclear non-proliferation, international information security and global Internet governance, countering new challenges and threats. conducts broad scientific, organizational, consulting and educational activities aimed at strengthening the role and place of the Russian expert community in the world, defending Russia’s national interests at the international level.

The main program of the center is “Russia and Nuclear Non-Proliferation,” within the framework of which the organization implements a number of scientific and applied projects, in particular, it examines the development of the situation around the nuclear program of Iran, the prospects for the development of nuclear energy in the Middle East, the place and role of Russia in the framework of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty.

In addition to this program, the center is engaged in researching issues related to new technologies, global Internet governance, and the prospects for BRICS.
