The “Institute for Information Freedom Development” has been dealing with difficulties related to the citizens and organizations' constitutional right to information for ten years. The foundation gave special consideration to the activities of the authorities and local self-government.

The recognition of the foundation as a “foreign agent” led to the closure of the organization, then some of the employees formed the human rights association “Team 29.”
