“The Institute for Economic Analysis (IEA) was established in 1994 by a well-known scientist, former President Putin adviser Andrey Nikolaevich Illarionov. Among the main goals of the organization is to promote the development of economic and social sciences, to enrich the Russian and foreign experience in the development and implementation of economic policy.

The materials of the IEA devoted to the problems of economic development and economic policy were regularly published in media, the scientific journal ‘Questions of Economics,’ and were also presented at various scientific conferences.
