“Sutyazhnik” was founded in 1994 in Yekaterinburg. The main goal of the organization is to promote the realization of human rights guaranteed by the Constitution of the Russian Federation. Members of the organization provide legal advice and represent the interests of citizens and organizations in court and other government agencies.
The organization is a resource center for a number of public associations of the Urals. In addition, “Sutyazhnik” is the founder of the Human Rights Academy, which trains lawyers specializing in the protection of human rights.
