Chechen public figure, president of the Assembly of Peoples of the Caucasus. In 2014, he was sentenced to three years and nine months of imprisonment being charged with storage of narcotics. The case was instigated after Kutaev had held an academic conference dedicated to the deportation of Chechens and Ingushs, despite the official prohibition.
