'Azerbaijan' was engaged in the development and harmonization of interethnic relations between Russia and Azerbaijan. The organization unites Russian citizens who consider themselves to be a part of the Azerbaijani ethnic community in order to represent their interests. In addition, the goal of 'Azerbaijan' is to preserve and develop Azerbaijani culture and traditions in Russia.
