Mikhail Prokofiev

A resident of Veliky Novgorod, an assembler of UAVs. A case was brought against him for failure to report a terrorist attack: according to the investigation, he knew that his friend Mikhail Golik had set fire to a relay cabinet, but failed to report it to the authorities. On 17 February 2026, Prokofiev was sentenced to a fine of 80 thousand rubles, equal to his monthly salary. Although district and city courts have jurisdiction over offences under the relevant article, the case was heard by the 1st Western District Military Court.
