The Prosecutor General’s Office has declared two more organisations “undesirable.” This information was published on the Justice Ministry’s website.

The list has been updated to include the American “Association for Slavic, East European and Eurasian Studies” and the Germany-registered company Radio Echo GmbH, which owns the online publication and internet radio station “Echo.”

The “Association for Slavic, East European and Eurasian Studies” was founded in 1948. The organisation conducts research and spreads knowledge about the history, politics, culture, and social life of former Soviet countries, as well as states in Eastern and Central Europe.

The “Echo” radio station brand was relaunched by “Echo of Moscow,” which was liquidated in March 2022 following pressure from the authorities.
