In Novosibirsk, a major city in Siberia, a banner for an opposition deputy hanging on the balcony of a residential building was doused with paint. This was reported by the Telegram channel Siberian Express.
The poster in support of Georgy Andreev, a deputy from the Communist Party (KPRF), was damaged by unknown individuals. Paint also got inside the flat, affecting the windows on the first floor.
Siberian Express notes that Andreev regularly criticises local developers and their lobbying power in the city council, and also clashes with deputy speaker Yevgeny Lebedev, whose electoral district is next door.
