The Razom for Ukraine foundation, which assists Ukraine, has been added to the list of “undesirable organisations,” according to an update to the register on the Ministry of Justice website.

The foundation was established in the United States in 2014 and supports Ukraine. Its main office is in New York, with branches operating in Washington and Kyiv.

“We provide humanitarian aid and run programmes in the fields of healthcare, advocacy, civil society, and culture,” states the Razom for Ukraine website. The foundation also provides essential supplies to Ukrainian emergency services and frontline medical workers.

In August 2024, due to a donation to Razom for Ukraine, a Russian-American national, Kseniya Karelina, was convicted in Yekaterinburg, a major city in the Urals. She was found guilty of treason (Article 275 of the Criminal Code) and sentenced to 12 years in a penal colony. The reason was a US$51.80 donation she sent on the first day of the war. In April 2025, Karelina was released as part of a prisoner exchange with the United States.
