A resident of Cherepovets, born in 1978, has had a criminal case opened against him for inciting terrorism (Part 2 of Article 205.2 of the Criminal Code), and has been remanded in custody, reports TASS, citing the regional branch of the FSB.
According to law enforcement, the man repeatedly called for the violent overthrow of the government in Russia online.
On 17 June, Alexander Bratakhin, born in 1978 in the village of Ivanov Bor, Vologda Oblast (a region in north-western Russia), was added to Rosfinmonitoring’s list of terrorists. There are profiles for Bratakhin from Cherepovets on VKontakte and Odnoklassniki. The date of birth listed on these profiles matches the information in the Rosfinmonitoring list. The house in published photos looks like the house raided by operatives in the FSB video, and Bratakhin’s physique also resembles that of the man detained in the video.
