The Kalininsky District Court in St Petersburg has remanded Vladislav Belkevich in custody until 6 September. He is accused of making public calls for terrorism online (Part 2 of Article 205.2 of the Russian Criminal Code). This was reported by the United Press Service of St Petersburg Courts.

Belkevich was detained on 7 July. According to investigators, from December 2023 to April 2025 he posted various comments in chats of Telegram channels, including some administered by members of the Russian Volunteer Corps. Investigators believe that in these comments, the accused called for terrorism, extremism, violations of the territorial integrity of the Russian Federation, organising and participating in mass unrest, as well as carrying out activities directed against state security. In addition, according to the press service, Belkevich also distributed deliberately false information about the Russian military. So far, there has been no information about any other criminal charges apart from the article on calls for terrorism.
