The case of Andrey Kuzhelev, who is accused of making donations to the Anti-Corruption Foundation (FBK), is being heard in the Zheleznodorozhny District Court of Yekaterinburg, a major city in the Urals. This was reported by the press service of the Sverdlovsk region courts.

The case was submitted to the court on 27 June. The hearing, initially scheduled for 14 July, was postponed to the 24th due to the absence of witnesses.

Kuzhelev is accused of financing extremism (Part 1, Article 282.3 of the Criminal Code). According to the prosecution, he watched a video on the 'Alexey Navalny' YouTube channel, responded to a call to support Navalny’s team, and set up a monthly automatic payment.
