In St Petersburg, a woman has been detained on charges of spreading “fakes” about the Russian army (Part 1, Article 207.3 of the Criminal Code). The city’s Investigative Committee reported this.

The authorities have not disclosed the woman’s name or details of the case, stating only that the prosecution was prompted by a certain publication made in November 2024. “A decision is pending on whether to impose pre-trial detention,” they noted.
