On 8 July, the Kondinsky District Court in Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug fined local resident Roman Matveenko 30,000 roubles (approximately US$330) under the article on damaging memorial objects and symbols of military glory (Part 1, Article 243.4 of the Criminal Code), for damaging a poster depicting a participant in the war in Ukraine. The combined press service of the region’s courts reported this.
