Blogger and comedian Anton Pikuli has been declared wanted by the authorities.

The Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs has declared blogger and comedian Anton Pikuli (Anton Ustimov) wanted by the authorities, reports Mediazona, which noted his entry on the wanted persons database.

Previously, there had been no official announcement regarding a criminal case against Pikuli. The details of the case are still unknown.

In January 2023, the blogger was included on the list of “foreign agents.” At the time, the Ministry of Justice stated that Pikuli had raised funds for Ukraine and called for violations of legislation and opposition to the current authorities. Following this, the blogger was fined four times under administrative protocols for non-compliance with the “foreign agent” legislation (article 19.34 of the Administrative Code).

• Anton Pikuli runs his own YouTube channel, which has more than 300,000 subscribers. He publishes reviews of Russian films and comments on political events there. Pikuli is also one of the hosts of the channel ‘Razgovorny Genre’, where comedians discuss, again, political developments in Russia. For some time, Pikuli was a host on the YouTube channel ‘Navalny LIVE.’ In addition, he performs as a stand-up comedian.
