The Ministry of Justice has added the US-based Human Rights Funders Network to its list of “undesirable organisations,” according to an update to the list published on the ministry’s website.
This organisation was established in 1994 by a group of grantmakers. It currently brings together nearly 450 organisations in 70 countries, which are engaged in philanthropy and grantmaking in the field of human rights.
“We envision a peaceful future, where human rights are protected and upheld, the planet is cared for, and all people can live and love with dignity,” is how the network describes its mission.
