The Ministry of Justice has designated as ‘foreign agents’ a journalist, a writer, an activist, and the project ‘Deceived Russian.’

The Ministry of Justice has added four more people and one project to the list of ‘foreign agents,’ according to a statement on the agency’s website. Included in the register are:

• investigative journalist Irina Borogan;
• writer Eduard Topol (Edmond Topelberg);
• activist Irina Shumilova from Kostroma, a city in central Russia;
• blogger Sergei Kuropov;
• the satirical project ‘Deceived Russian.’
