A protocol was drawn up against Ekaterina under the article on refusal to undergo a sobriety test, reports SOTAvision.

According to the outlet, Judge Ekaterina Mukhina behaved rudely and tried to put pressure on the young woman. The defence was given only five minutes to familiarise themselves with the case files.

The defence stated that during the arrest, the artist agreed to undergo the sobriety test, but then the police started persuading her to refuse, without warning her about the consequences.

  • Ekaterina was detained on 1 November. She was first charged under the article on organising a mass gathering of people in a public place due to a concert in support of “stoptime”—members of the St Petersburg group faced the same charge for their performances.
  • At the defence’s request, the court postponed the hearing, but the artist was not released and was returned to the police station. After this, a second protocol was drawn up, which allowed the authorities to keep Ekaterina at the station until a new court hearing.
