Criminal case over LGBTQ fan fiction

A 35-year-old photographer from Yekaterinburg, a major city in the Urals, is being charged under the article on the distribution of pornography (section “b,” part 3, article 242 of the Criminal Code) because of fan fiction with LGBT characters. Komsomolskaya Pravda reports this.

The case was initiated in May, and in October, another episode was added to the file. The woman’s home in Yekaterinburg was searched; law enforcement seized her books and all her devices, including 20 compact discs. She is currently under a travel ban.
