The Vladivostok city administration has once again refused to approve a protest against the increase in recycling fees and VAT. This was reported by the publication Krasny Priboy.
Residents of Primorye wanted to hold a rally outside the Youth House. The Vladivostok administration has denied activists approval for their protest five times. On 16 November, the event was rejected under the pretext of celebrating Father Frost’s birthday. However, on the same square, a tent for military recruitment was set up instead.
Later, the city administration outright banned rallies at the Youth House until spring—citing renovation work as the reason. This is the only site in the city that can accommodate 500 people.
