A new criminal case has been opened against a Yekaterinburg resident who verbally abused a schoolchild for wearing a Z-cap. Local news outlet 66.ru reports, citing the court’s press office.

Alexander Neustroev is currently in an open prison settlement on charges of hooliganism involving threats of violence. In spring 2023, Alexander told an 11-year-old boy whose father is fighting against Ukraine: “Shove that cap up your arse.” The Yekaterinburg resident also called the schoolchild a “moron” and an “idiot.”

Soon afterwards, Neustroev was detained on criminal charges. In June 2024, the Yekaterinburg resident was sentenced to three years in an open prison settlement.

A new criminal case has now been opened against Alexander for justifying terrorism. The court’s press office reports: “Whilst in prison, in the presence of other inmates, he spoke favourably about the acts of terrorism against Vladlen Tatarsky and Darya Dugina.”
