In Tomsk, at a rally against the blocking of “Roblox,” officers from the Centre for Combating Extremism detained National Bolshevik activists Arseny Leoshko and Alexander Yershov, reports the “National Human Rights” channel.

Yershov was not taken to the police station, and Leoshko was released without having a record drawn up, after providing a written explanation. The reason for the authorities’ interest was the display of the party emblem—a lemon-shaped hand grenade—even though it is not on the Ministry of Justice’s list of prohibited materials. Police demanded Yershov sign a contract to serve in the war against Ukraine, threatening to forcibly send him to the frontline, and also claimed that Eduard Limonov had been declared a “foreign agent.” He died five years ago.

“We are not entirely sure what substances law enforcement officers in Tomsk are taking, but we strongly recommend that the main office of the Interior Ministry pay close attention to their colleagues in Tomsk. It is unclear how one can grant foreign agent status (and party leadership) to someone who died five years ago, while in a reasonable state of mind,” activists wrote.

The picket, authorised by the authorities and attended by several dozen people, took place in a park on Vysotsky Street. The administration directed activists there—initially, Tomsk residents had applied to hold the event in the city centre, but the authorities moved it, citing “venue unavailability.”

Roskomnadzor blocked Roblox for “promoting extremism and LGBT” at the beginning of December.
