He was sentenced to four years in prison under the article on justifying terrorism (part 1 of article 205.2 of the Criminal Code). Miftakhov was accused of having, in a conversation with other prisoners, approved the actions of Mikhail Zhlobitsky, who carried out a bombing at the Arkhangelsk FSB office. According to the anarchist, during that conversation, Zhlobitsky was not mentioned at all—he says he discussed a Channel One report about the fighting in Bakhmut with other inmates.
- According to the second sentence, Miftakhov was to spend two and a half years in prison, with the remaining term to be served in a high-security colony.
- The anarchist was detained on the second criminal case immediately after finishing his sentence on the first case. He had been sentenced to five years and nine months in a colony for hooliganism (part 2 of article 213 of the Criminal Code). According to investigators, Miftakhov broke a window in the local office of United Russia in Moscow and threw a smoke bomb inside.
