In Moscow, State Duma candidate Yulia Kuznetsova has gone missing after meeting with voters.

Yulia Kuznetsova, a State Duma candidate from the Green Party, stopped responding to calls on the evening of 17 September after meeting with voters in Sokolniki, reports SOTAvision. Before disappearing, she messaged acquaintances that she was heading home in a taxi with her husband and was about 15 minutes away. After that, the couple’s phones became unreachable.

Nikolai Toropov, head of the Moscow-based movement “Rassvet,” tried during the night to find out Kuznetsova’s whereabouts and contacted the police. According to him, at the Babushkinsky police department, he was shown footage from a building entrance camera showing Kuznetsova and her husband entering their home. However, police did not confirm whether the couple subsequently left the building. There is no official information about Kuznetsova being detained.

Shortly before Kuznetsova’s disappearance, her election observers were barred from polling stations. At the territorial election commission for the Bogorodskoe district, officials claimed the candidate herself had withdrawn them. Kuznetsova denied this and insisted a document with her signature was forged.
