In the Lipetsk region, the chair of the Territorial Election Commission obstructed the work of a commission member from the Communist Party (KPRF).

In the Khlevnoye municipal district of the Lipetsk region, the chair of the Territorial Election Commission (TEC) attempted to obstruct the work of a commission member with the right to vote from the Communist Party (KPRF). This was reported by the regional party committee.

Initially, the chair sent the commission member to the first floor, near the entrance, under the pretext of “ensuring security,” outside the TEC premises. However, there was neither a schedule for this duty nor any written order issued.

Later, the TEC member from the KPRF went to inspect the work of the district’s precinct election commissions. However, upon their return, the TEC chair stated that they were required to remain in the TEC premises and follow only her instructions. The member was denied credit for the 10 hours spent checking the work of the precinct commissions, and only the two hours spent in the TEC premises were counted.

“They won’t pay for him wandering around the district,” the commission declared.
