Security officers detained an activist known by the nickname “Leshiy,” who came to the Solovetsky Stone on the Day of Remembrance for Victims of Political Repression. This was reported by SOTAvision.
The young man had “We are not 0” written on one cheek, a peace symbol on the other, and “rocking the boat” written on his hand, according to RusNews.
Leshiy himself described the detention as baseless. When asked by a RusNews correspondent about the reasons for his detention, he replied: “For nothing at all.” The activist was taken to the Kitay-Gorod police station.
On 30 October, Russia marks the Day of Remembrance for Victims of Political Repression. On this day, commemorative actions traditionally take place at the Solovetsky Stone.
