The Ministry of Justice has added the “Rassvet” party of Ekaterina Duntsova and Ilya Yashin’s “Peaceful Russia” party to the register of “foreign agents,” noted Mediazona.
The following were also included in the list:
- film director Leda Garina;
- economic commentator Boris Grozovsky;
- human rights defender Nikolai Rodkin;
- poet Galina Rymbu;
- journalist Murat Temirov;
- the project “Razoblacheno.”
Among the reasons for inclusion in the register, the Ministry of Justice cites spreading “false information” about the Russian authorities, speaking out against the war in Ukraine, and publishing materials from other “foreign agents” and “undesirable” organisations.
