Before that, from August to October 2020, he "was three times brought to administrative responsibility under Article 20.2 of the Administrative Code", and "various district courts of the regional centre imposed fines of 10,000 rubles and arrest for ten days". Apparently, one of the actions included in the criminal case was a march in support of Khabarovsk protest on 8 August: Khokhlov was considered the organiser of an uncoordinated event and was arrested for ten days, but the court of appeal reduced the arrest to eight days.
The message was accompanied by a video showing Khokhlov being roughly placed in the snow and handcuffed.
On 1 February, the court sent Khokhlov to custody. In March, he was released from custody on his own recognisance.
On 5 July the court dismissed the case.
