Biography
Detained on 22 December 2016 together with six other people on suspicion of involvement in Tablighi Jamaat, arrested. On 17 September 2018, he was sentenced to four years in a general regime colony. In October 2019, he was released, after which he was detained on charges of violating migration laws (he had previously been deprived of Russian citizenship). The court decided to fine him and expel him from the country.
