Aleksandr Plaksivyi
Biography
Ukrainian military personnel. On August 17, 2024, he was taken prisoner in the Kursk region. A criminal case was opened against him for a “terrorist act” - the way Russian authorities classify the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ incursion into the Kursk region. According to the case materials, he served in a brigade involved in launching drones over Russian territory. On March 14, 2025, Plaksivyi was sentenced to 15 years in a maximum-security penal colony.
