Biography
A resident of Novokuznetsk and a leading specialist at the Russian Railways (RZhD) technical audit centre. In July 2024, he was remanded in custody on charges of participating in a terrorist organisation due to his alleged involvement in Artpodgotovka, an informal movement of politician Vyacheslav Maltsev’s supporters.
Investigators also claim that Demchenko is involved in a case regarding the preparation of a terrorist attack, though the details remain unknown. Testimony against him was provided by Yury Martyanov, another Kemerovo Region native, who was detained in July 2024 on charges of committing a terrorist act.
