On 10 November 2020, a case was opened against Vorontsov for organising extremist activities. A signature on non-departure was taken. On 20 January 2022, the court returned the case to the prosecutor's office. On 17 December 2024, when the case was retried, Vorontsov was sentenced to a fine, details are unknown.
