Alexandr Matiukhin
Biography
An employee of the power repair division of Zaporizhzhya NPP. According to the Centre for Journalist Investigations, on 14 March 2023, he was kidnapped by unknown persons, after which he was taken into custody on charges of espionage. According to the investigation, he passed information about the locations of equipment and units of the Russian Armed Forces in Zaporizhzhya region to his brother, the commander of the artillery reconnaissance platoon of the AFU. In September 2024, Matyukhin was sentenced to 13 years in a strict regime penal colony.
