On 26 June 2018, he was detained in a case of extremist activities and was subsequently released. He has signed a recognizance not to leave. On 16 September 2021, the court returned the case to the prosecutor's office. On 29 January 2024, Arkhipov was sentenced to a fine of 380,000 RUB (329 USD).
