Biography
A resident of Ulan-Ude, he studied at Buryat State University. On 11 January 2024, he was detained in his dormitory. A case of public justification of terrorism and high treason was opened against him. Badmaev was taken into custody. On 13 May 2025, the court of appeal increased the term to 14 years. On 13 November 2025, when Badmaev's long visit with his parents was to begin, he was sent to a punishment cell.
