Andrei Sidelnikov

He served as an aide to a State Duma deputy and was a member of the Liberal Russia party. In 2007, he emigrated to the United Kingdom, where he was granted political asylum. In October 2023, Sidelnikov was added to the registry of "foreign agents." He heads the Russian youth opposition movement "Pora" and the international movement "Speak Louder!" On May 31, 2024, Sidelnikov was arrested in absentia in connection with a case involving calls for terrorism; he was subsequently placed on a wanted list. In November 2024, he was sentenced in absentia to six years in prison.
