In July 2025 he was detained in the case of financing an "undesirable organisation" due to donations to the All-Ukrainian Spiritual Centre "Vozrozhdenie", as well as contributions of 30 thousand rubles for participation in closed meetings. Has signed a recognisance not to leave.
