Anna Arkhipova

Detained on 6 June 2023 in Novosibirsk and taken to Moscow. As part of the case against the anti-war movement "Viasna", charged with creation of an extremist community and participation in its activities, dissemination of disrespectful information about the days of military glory by a group of persons, public calls for actions against the security of the state, committed by an organised group, dissemination of deliberately false information about the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation by a group of persons with a hate motive, and participation in the activities of NGOs that infringe on the personality and rights of citizens. On 8 June she was sent to custody. On 8 April 2026, Arkhipova was sentenced to 12 years in a general regime colony.
