Anton Voronin

A resident of Nizhny Novgorod. He was detained on 24 February 2026 after a search. According to him, when he opened the flat door, he was thrown on the floor, kicked on the head and on the body with a stun gun, forced to lie in his underwear at the open balcony door with a cloth in his mouth. Then in the car they put him on the floor and put his feet on it. The next day Voronin was taken into custody on charges of participation in the activities of an extremist organisation. The reason was the posts in his Telegram channel "Alan Grant - science and journalism": a repost of a publication about the creation of the American legal entity FBC and, presumably, other reposts; the ruling on bringing Voronin as a defendant actually mentions one publication: the above repost, as well as the original post from Alexei Navalny's channel, which was a repost of the publication in Voronin's channel.
