Resident of Volgograd. Detained in July 2020 on charges of participation in the activities of an extremist organisation due to involvement in the activities of the Islamic movement Tablighi Jamaat. Its adherents are persecuted solely because of their religious activities. On 12 September 2022, sentenced to two years' suspended sentence . On 11 November 2022, the court of appeal replaced the suspended sentence with a real one. Presumably released in November 2024.
