Biography
On 27 July 2019 he was detained during the dispersal of a rally for fair elections. He was questioned at the police station by an employee of the Investigative Committee. On 9 August, Beglets was detained as part of a criminal case, the same day the court ordered to take him into custody. First he was charged with participation in mass riots, then - with use of violence against a representative of the authorities. The case of violence was separated into separate proceedings, the fugitive pleaded guilty and agreed to a special trial.

On 3 September, the court sentenced Beglets to two years in a penal colony. On 27 March 2020, the court of cassation instance changed the regime of serving the sentence to a settlement colony.
On 20 October, the court granted Beglets's application for parole. On 2 November, Beglets was released.
