Dmitrii Koval
Biography
A resident of the Sverdlovsk region. He was accused of participating in the activities of an extremist organisation: the investigation believed that he was involved in the movement of "citizens of the USSR". Representatives of this movement deny the collapse of the USSR; it is not clear how structured this movement is or how serious a danger it poses to Russian society. Koval was on his own recognisance not to leave. On 14th of August 2024, he was sentenced to two years in a general regime colony. Presumably, he was released in March 2026.
